BlueSky Lifestyle’s Story
Our founder and lead coach, Robin Eschler, has experienced the many challenges, disappointments, lessons and incredible joy that life dishes out to all of us. Her path took her through a rich childhood of travel through the Middle East and Europe to a deeper study of the world’s religions, natural sciences, art, yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Her career in marketing began in the early days of Silicon Valley where she worked alongside some of the “grandfathers of technology” and enjoyed the accompanying success.
However, life took a serious turn upon experiencing an abusive and tumultuous marriage in her late 30s. By the age of 40, she became a single parent of 3 beautiful children and spent an ensuing 5 years battling the courts to protect her children. The silver lining was her inner guidance that kept her reconnecting with a Universal power to transcend the challenges and persevere. Through it she grew tremendous resilience together with the wisdom of forgiveness and appreciation for each day.
In 2022, she traveled alone to Ecuador where she had the time of her life exploring jungles of screaming monkeys, relaxing in natural mineral pools, soaking in natural hot springs and cooling off under cold waterfalls, and… swinging over the edge of the world with a volcano steaming in the background! More importantly, she captured her expression of young joy and excitement for life.
When she arrived back home in California, and for her 70th birthday, she launched herself from a plane (sky-diving) to recognize and celebrate a life where she could merge the zeal of a younger self with the mature woman of experience and wisdom. She simultaneously vowed to help other women accomplish the same thing, and BlueSky-Lifestyle was born.
Robin’s creative joy for life together with her long work career was fertile ground for the creation of The Laughing Crone, her latest brand. It’s within this container that she is able to poke fun while sharing career lessons from decades of work in leadership positions for Fortune 500 companies, in small-businesses as a consultant and for entrepreneurs as a mentor. Her online journey includes producing the podcast, Socially Conscious Investing from 2009 through 2012, and again in 2024 with Women of Passion and Legacy.
Her work also includes international support for numerous NGOs and for-profit social enterprises gifting her with incredible friendships around the world. She has worked on teams to build a peace center in Auschwitz (One Humanity Institute), helping build schools for women and street children in Afghanistan (Aid Afghanistan for Education), bringing teddy bears to refugee children (Children of the World) and more.
Today, the coaching team seems to simply appear. Our current team grows by the day.
