Discover the Passion and Legacy of Virginia Misoff
Women of Passion and Legacy (click photo or here to view on YouTube) feature women who have risen above boundaries of age, education, expectation and demographics to discover their inner legend and express it such that it inspires others to grow and contribute to the lives of others. These women find and express their strengths in many different ways. For Virginia Misoff, it’s photography.
Virginia started traveling alone, after her husband died, at the age of 53. She continued until she was 87 when her eyesight was failing and she was forced to stop. Her photography has been suggested for National Geographic, a dream she still intends to complete now at the age of 97 years old. We are working to help her accomplish that. Comment if you’d like to help, too.
Virginia traveled and photographed beauty from Alaska to Antarctica, Africa to South America. During her travels, she connected with other women to inspire and help them with their daily lives. As a member of the Greatest Generation, she certainly exemplifies that name.
Unfortunately, the photographs in the video are not her own. Her photos will be featured in a later entry, so please subscribe to this blog, as well as on YouTube.
